Getaway with a group

Our range of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom cottages provides 17 bedrooms and 33 beds, offering a variety of accommodation configurations to suit different group preferences. Two well-appointed indoor meeting rooms are available for group gatherings or workshops, fitted out with everything you might need to make your time together comfortable and easy. There is also a beautiful outdoor patio and seating area overlooking expansive countryside views.

The Community Room

Spotless with a seamless setup for Corporate Retreats, Church Groups, Arts, Craft, Quilting and Sewing Retreats or events for up to 46 people, this is often referred to as the Large Work Room. The Community Room is part of our Farmhouse complex and is situated between The Quarters and The Farmhouse. The room itself is approximately 65 square metres in size and can comfortably seat 46 people for dining. This room holds up to 20 trestle tables, all with office chairs for your ergonomic comfort.

The Patio adjoins this room through glass double doors and overlooks the farm—guests can sit outside and enjoy alfresco dining with shelter from sun and rain. Adjacent to this area is a commercial kitchen, dishwasher, and wheelchair accessible powder room.

The Common Room

The “Common Room” is situated between two of our units, The Lodge and Kirribilli. These units can sleep 14 people over 13 individual beds, and an additional powder room is available from The Common Room. This is a smaller meeting room and can comfortably seat 25 people in conference layout, and holds up to 8 large work tables, This has been very popular for large family gatherings as well as craft workshops, sewing retreats, and school visits.

Catering

Just 10 minutes from York, you can explore the local eateries or settle in and make the most of the retreat itself. Each cottage includes its own kitchen and BBQ, and our on-site commercial kitchen is available to hire for groups who prefer to self-cater. If you would rather leave it to someone else, please enquire about our catering options. We can also accommodate gluten free and dairy free dietary requirements.
