Activities

So much to do on the farm! Or simply relax.

Lavendale is perfectly suited to those looking to slow down and reconnect with nature.

The river is a highlight—entirely natural, with tracks worn in only by kangaroos. It can be rugged in places, but finding a quiet spot on the bank makes it worthwhile. Being a Wheatbelt river it may run dry in summer, though the peace and raw beauty remain. Boots are recommended when walking in the bush.

The sandalwood plantation is a lovely place to wander, home to several native acacia species that host the local Sandalwood Spicatum.

We don't offer scheduled activities at this stage, though this may change as the farm develops.

Lavendale sits roughly halfway between York and Beverley—half an hour from Northam and an hour from Toodyay, all worth exploring. For events in York, visit york.wa.gov.au/events.

Our 20-metre lap pool is now open. The pool is a consistent 1.2m throughout with no shallow end. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. No lifeguard is on duty — the safety of children is the responsibility of their guardians. Please bring your own towels.
